Jessica is a freelance writer and editor from Upstate New York. She has always wanted to be a novelist. It makes her mother nervous (“You don’t have a back-up plan?”) and her 10-year-old self extremely happy. She enjoys reading, crocheting, cooking, the BBC, and traveling.
Currently, she’s in the midst of the third rewrite of her novel, an untitled fantasy piece about the struggle of power between two brothers, one impatient for the chance to rule over his homeland, the other content to achieve greatness through study and patience.
She participates in National Novel Writing Month every year, and keeps writing year-round. Her literary idols are J.K. Rowling and Nick Hornby.
